Aquaculture environment contains several opportunistic pathogens which are responsible for infections during grow out culture period. Vibriosis is the major problem in shrimp aquaculture affecting the survival and growth. Bacterial and fungal infections like, gill choke, black gill and brown gill impairs the respiratory function. These primary infection leads to immune suppress increasing the susceptibility of animals to secondary viral infections. UNIQUE-RELIEF 80 is developed with 80% mixture of alkylbenzyldimethylammonium chlorides along with suitable modifiers. UNIQUE-RELIEF 80 is a broad spectrum antibacterial and antifungal chemical having a high germicidal efficacy even at low concentrations, which sanitises the aquatic environment and prevents outbreak of diseases.
